British Doctors Open Letter 2014 Cell Phone Radiation Hazards

Abstract:   Open Letter by British  Doctors on Health and Safety of Wi-Fi and Mobile Phone Radiation

There is now substantial evidence of a link between mobile phone use and brain cancer. This was recognised by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC)’s 30-strong panel of scientists, which in 2011 classed radio frequency radiation as “possibly carcinogenic”.

There is growing concern that chronic (long-term) exposure to radiofrequency/microwave radiation from wireless technologies causes damage, particularly genetic damage, cognitive damage, cancer and decreased fertility.

Large group of doctors are encountering a significant and growing number of people presented with a range of acute (short-term) symptoms from wireless radiation, including headaches, palpitations, rashes, fatigue, sleep disturbance, allergies and memory and concentration problems.

LATEST STUDY 2014

According to the Daily Mail, the average person spends two-and-a-half hours each month on their cell phone. However, business executives and professionals tend to surpass the average phone time by significantly more hours.

The latest study, which analyzed 253 cases of glioma and 194 cases of meningioma reported in four French departments between 2004 and 2006, revealed that people who spend 900 hours on the phone during the course of their career are significantly more likely to develop brain tumors.
